The hotel Jaz AquaViva Makadi is situated approx. 3 km from a sandy beach, linked every 30 minutes by a free shuttle service. At the beach, there are sun umbrellas and sun loungers free of charge. The tourist centre is about 35 km away. The town Hurghada is around 35 km away (Cairo around 500 km). For medical treatment in emergencies there is a hospital around 30 km away.
