General description:
Approx. 50 m from the hotel´s own rocky beach is situated the hotel Sphinx Resort. At the beach are sun loungers and sun umbrellas free of charge available. The tourist centre is about 8 km away. The town Cairo is around 500 km away. Shopping facilities are located approx.3 km from the hotel. For medical treatment in emergencies there is a hospital around 1 km away. The hotel and airport are linked by a shuttle (for a fee).

Recently renovated in 2020, the 5-storey beach hotel consists of a main building and 3 adjoining buildings, and has 233 rooms in total. It offers its guests a 24h reception (check-in from 14:00, check-out until 12:00), a lobby with bar, 2 lifts, air conditioning, coiffeur, a mini market and various other shops. For the meals, there are two restaurants (air-conditioned) and a snack bar. In a total 4 bars, you can relax in good company. WiFi can be used by hotel guests for a fee. Room cleaning is free of charge. Laundry / ironing service and medical service are available for a fee.
Pool:
In the outdoor area of the hotel you will find 3 fresh water pools with a children´s pool integrated into the main pool. Here, there are sun umbrellas and sun loungers for free available. A bar at the pool offers guests refreshing beverages.
