General description:
Approx. 100 m from a sandy beach is situated the hotel Macaris Suites and Spa, which is especially popular with honeymooners. The tourist centre is about 1 km away. The town Rethymno City Center is around 1 km away (Heraklion around 85 km, Chania around 65 km). In the vicinity of the hotel are a number of shopping facilities, a supermarket can be reached after around 500 m. It is 850 m from the hotel to the nearest bars and restaurants. For mobility during your holiday, there are a taxi rank, a bus stop (approx. 100 m away), a car rental company and a motorcycle rental. For medical treatment in emergencies there is a hospital around 800 m away. The airport (CHQ) is approx. 67 km away. Another airport (HER) is located approx. 80 km away.

Recently renovated in 2009, the 8-storey spa hotel has 42 rooms in total. It is equipped with a reception (check-in from 14:00, check-out until 12:00), a lobby with bar, 2 lifts, an air conditioning, a coiffeur as well as a parking area (for free). For the meals, there are two restaurants and a snack bar. You will be warmly welcomed in both the hotel’s bars. WiFi is available for free. Room cleaning is free of charge. Room service, laundry / ironing service and medical service are available for a fee.

Pool:
In the outdoor area of the hotel you will find one fresh water pool with a children´s pool. Here, there are sun loungers and sun umbrellas for free available.
